The Edge Christian Centre was launched on April 4 2010 at the Travelodge Silverlink. We are currently negotiating a lease for premises on North Norham Rd, North Shields and until competion will remain at the Travelodge.

The vision of The Edge is to see people's lives changed all over North Tyneside, by the power of God. To see lives healed & hope restored in peoples lives.

How? By building a relevant church of influence on North Tyneside, a church that will not be silent or ignored.

By building a judgement free church - a criticism free church and a cringe free church for the whole family. With God at its centre & a culture of releasing potential in people. Our new premises will enable The Edge to impact the local community through professional nursery facilities, debt management counselling, conference facilities and a coffee shop.

The Edge also supports local charities such as domestic violence & those people who need assistance with food, etc.
We also support international charities such as Compassion & Mercy ministries as well as Release international.

The Edge is committed to achieving this vision through a core belief of excellence.
